Hopes Lie Within

Today, like all days I saw this pretty sight, the man selling his wares his body frail, eyes bright. His life is hard, lived a day at a time and the future, is thick with grime. He is resilient, sometimes brilliant he works too hard and gets too little, drowning in disregard. He is tired, yet so wired that he doesn't quit in this unfair world, tries desperately to fit.
