A Letter to the One Whose Eyes Sparkle Like Stars in the Midnight Sky

It’s strange, isn’t it? How you can fall for the same person more than once. I don’t know when exactly it happened—but somewhere between your laugh and the way you look at me like I matter, I fell for you all over again. And this time, deeper than before.
There’s something about you that brings out a part of me I never knew existed. A softness. A fierceness. A desire to protect you from anything that could ever bring harm to your heart. If I could, I would wrap the world in safety just for you. I’d fight battles you’ll never even know about, just to keep that light in your eyes from dimming.
Because when I look into your eyes... I see everything. My future, my peace, my purpose. It’s as if the entire world melts away and nothing else matters. Just you. Just us. In that moment, I don’t need anything more.
I don’t want to just be by your side when things are easy. I want to be there through it all—when storms rise, when the days feel heavy, when the nights get cold and long. I want to be the one who reminds you that you’re never alone. That you’re cherished.
You are my peace in a world full of noise. My clarity in confusion. You are the home I didn’t know I was searching for.
And every time I see you—really see you—I fall all over again. Not in the fluttery, fleeting way. But in the eternal, soul-bound kind of way.
You are my heart’s truest language. My reason to keep going. My everything. And I promise, no matter where life takes us, I’ll always hold your hand like it’s the most sacred thing I’ve ever been given.
Love, w.a
