This book is written by Yuval Noah Harari. It is about the little things and ideas that helped us humans to become who we are today.

We were very weak and much smaller than many animals. How did we survive then? How did we conquer them? How did we make many of them extinct from the entire world? He answers all these questions in this book.

I learned many things about our ancestors and how they lived from reading this.

There were actually different species of humans before. But they went extinct just because of us even though they were stronger, larger or smaller and more adjusted to different climatic conditions. The reason we won was our super power - The power to imagine. This helped us imagine things and invent them. The other Humans could not imagine. So they could not survive us, the Sapiens.

Harari also talks about the way we lived and how we spread around the world.

He then tells us about how the archaeologists find evidence that is good enough to find correct information about our ancestors.

He dwells upon many facts about our ancestors which are interesting. For example, they were animists. It means that they believed that trees and animal can talk and everything has spirits.

Humans had advantages to take over the world like cooperation, ability to control fire and the element of surprise.

He concludes the book by telling how we must be precautious about the Earth because we are the most dangerous animal in the world and because we are the rulers of the world.
