#100days Writing Challenge - Day 1

I've been a Standard Notes user for some time now but haven't utilised the Listed feature until now.

Being a (former) long time user of Evernote it was hard to transition away, but it was necessary, due to serious privacy concerns.

While Standard Notes doesn't do everything I'd like, I'm making it work. I appreciate the minimalist interface and extensions but, above all, I was attracted to its privacy and longevity manifestos.

Thanks to the #100days Writing Challenge, I'm going to attempt to write at least 100 words for 100 days. There will be more than a few days where it will be difficult to write, due to travel or other commitments, but this is why it's a "challenge".

Anyone taking this challenge should remember to be kind to oneself. Should you slip up and miss a day or more, all you have to do is recognise the situation and make a conscious effort to pick up from where you left off.

My focus is to write more consistently: copy for my businesses, content for my first book and, of course, personal journal entries.

Thanks for taking the time to read this quick and, rather, raw first entry. I'm going to try and include a wide range of topics over the next 100 days (and beyond), and hopefully you'll find something of interest.

If you're reading this, I'd love it if you could send me a quick message via my guestbook :)
