games

Life can be looked at as a game of games, with one of our main tasks being to find those which we might actually enjoy playing. So much of our feelings towards ourselves and life can rest on what games we decide to play. Pick the right ones and we'll feel that we and life are wonderful. Pick the wrong ones and we'll feel that we and life are shit.

Whatever we conclude only has relative meaning but will impact us nonetheless. It's all formed in the interplay, the space in which the ball is passed back and forth. What we put out and receive in turn.

When you start to feel down about yourself or life in a certain context, consider how you're doing in the overall situation, in the game you're currently playing. Is there a way you can play your part better? A different role you can play? A way you can make the game more fun for yourself and the other players? Or is there a different game you might enjoy playing instead?
