Ricoh Scan To Email Fix

I was having a hard time setting up the Scan to Email feature of our Ricoh MP C5503 copier/scannner/printer. Several hours later I realized that on the user configuration panel, turn off the "Send via SMTP Server" setting. Presumably you have already set up the outbound SMTP email function in the General Settings section. Just use those settings and make sure you uncheck (disable) the "Send Via SMTP Server" setting in each user's email panel. Hopefully this will save someone a few hours trying to figure this out.
