XXXXXX in their role as Community Engagement Officer, attended a Stroud Against Racism meeting on 26th March, in Stroud, to improve our engagement with the police. I work with Stroud Against Racism (SAR) and often attend meetings.
On Thursday, May 29 a local black street artist was verbally abused and attacked in Bank Gardens, Stroud by five white youths at approximately 5:30 pm. SAR have been involved with providing support to the victim and witnesses families.
I e-mailed XXXX, as our police community contact, to discuss from my .gov.uk e-mail address on the 4th June and to date have not received a reply. (neither have I had a reply to another e-mail from my non-gov.uk account on the 16th May).
I've put out a blog post detailing my involvement to date and I understand that the incident was raised in SAR's contact meeting with Simon Opher MP yesterday. Here is the link for context.

Please can you check why SAR hasn't received a timely response from the constabulary, how we get one, and how we can prevent this sort of thing from happening in the future.
