We, monks, do not normally beg for our living expenses. Our Holy Father, St. Benedict, has admonished us to live by the labor of our hands, which is the path we strive to follow.
However, in the spirit of Benedictine-Cistercian hospitality, we do not refuse those who wish to offer their support as we offer ours to those people who come to our guest house and share the hidden contemplative life we live.
