Disinformation

Let's say this again: if lateral flow tests stop being free then very many people who do now test will no longer test. Especially people for whom getting a positive diagnosis means they cannot work: people who work in proximity to other people and are the people most likely to pass on the virus if they have it.

This means two things: the rate of infection will be higher than it otherwise would be, and the available statistics on infections will be degraded, and in particular will almost certainly start to seriously undercount infections.

And so 'infections will go down' and the johnsonists will crow about having beaten CV19.

The virus, of course, does not care about the reported statistics, and since actual infections will go up more people will die.

This is, in other words, a disinformation campaign launched by the johnsonist supremacy on the people of Britain.
