Hello World

Hello world! This is my first blog post on Listed.to, written using the Standard Notes app.
As a Proton user, I'm very curious to try out a note-taking app that is part of its ecosystem.
Currently, the service does not seem to be fully integrated, as you cannot log in using Proton credentials. There is no publicly available price dedicated to Proton users to unlock features in Standard Notes. The features I'm really missing with the free account are the ability to write using Markdown and to create folders to keep all my notes organised.
I contacted Proton Customer Service for assistance and they quickly replied to say that they had sent my request to the Standard Notes team. I hope they will write to me soon.
I am writing this blog post because I enjoy testing new services and software, especially if they are open source and make use of encryption. I have read that Standard Notes has completed four security audits (more information can be found here: https://standardnotes.com/help/2/has-standard-notes-completed-a-third-party-security-audit), which is impressive.
The Standard Notes Android app is available on F-Droid, and there is an app image for Linux users (here: https://standardnotes.com/plans?downloaded=linux). Standard Notes can also be downloaded from the Snap Store for Linux users.
I used Joplin as part of my workflow in the past, but dismissed it when I decided to switch to Emacs Org-mode. Org-mode is great, but it risks being too complicated for collaborators unfamiliar with Linux terminals and text-based user interfaces. I hope Standard Notes will be suitable for my needs. I'll let you know if you're interested.
