A few million years ago evolution realized that, in critical moments, choosing in a fraction of a second whether to trust a stranger, following a principle that can be wrong 50% of the time, allows one to survive longer than choosing by following a slow but more precise analysis.

Moreover, a few hundred thousand years ago, this reckless trust or distrust was practiced in groups of a few dozen individuals. An error of judgment could easily be corrected by the numerous occasions that everyday life offered. The swift analysis had the chance to become the slow but precise analysis that instinct did not allow for.

Of the present, I can only tell you that the angel of whom, at a distance on the street, I was able to glimpse the white-dyed fringe, the piercings on ears nose tongue and navel, is and will forever remain the purest and most just being, and the one most deserving of my trust that exists.
