The NC vs PC Bet in a New Era

Microsoft and Oracle used to bet about NC (Oracle: network computer) and PC (Microsoft: personal computer) and Microsoft won the bet due to some reasons of the past that network wasn't fast enough; and possibly some more down-points which made NC fail.

However, in this era, the Internet is rather fast enough, average 20MB/s in the world or even better 100MB/s in big cities. It's kinda enough for network computer but still not smooth enough for streaming.

NC may rise again but won't be diskless I guess; possibly network-hybrid computer with disk for caching.
