Space

Space is constructed, space is owned
A safe space's skeleton
It's walls and floorboards moaned
Walls see a past, events we'd never know
To make it a safe haven
There are seeds we must sow
But now they see you, a more picturesque view
Ready to write a new story untold
This space together could never be cold
This place may have once been called a bubble
A previous safe, to hide from trouble
Maybe now it's a safe space or home
Either way our story is contained within a tome
We will cut and break and tear
The result's this amazing place
But what is it we notice whilst we are there?
That this place is one of many
We have troubles we need not bear
It becomes this wonderful land
Where dreams and love are realised
Together we walk the pages
Our plans forever 'huge sized'
Brick and wood see us and need us
Without us they're nothing
But us without them
we are far more than something
Space around us warps and twists
Love's vortex ever turning
Obstacles arise and resists
Our closeness ever burning
Does this change much or us or stuff?
Sorta kinda, there's more there now
But without it all or anything at all
you're far more than enough
This place is filled and will overflow
A home of all homes is not just space
Wherever you are - that is my place
I love you more than you will ever know
