Another example of how humour is used in the text is, "I ate one of my five twix bars and another packet of monster munch. I should've brought more." The effect of using this joke is that it shows Pilkington's ignorance and lack of cultural appreciation.

Another example of how the voice over is being used in this scene is in 2:05-2:06, this is when the fetus egg is being shown and the voice-over says “oh god”. The effect this had on the viewer is that it makes them feel like they can relate to the voice-over, it is as if the voice-over is their own thoughts.
