I hate this world.

I hate this world.

From the day you can comprehend, you realize you’re surrounded by lies and fakeness. Everything that is sold as good is vain. You are sheltered from the frightening truth that there is no purpose to anything. That it’s all hollow. That good is rare and usually tainted.

And that kids are not loved as much as they’re tolerated. That everyone is just programmed like a monkey, repeating what they have learned and been told. Nobody thinks for themselves.

There is no reward in this world. No reward for hard work. No reward for good deeds. No reward for kindness and good neighbourliness. All there is, is judgment, bickering, and slander.

And the only difference is that once you’re an adult, they struggle to hide it from you. All these worthless human values that serve nobody. That give nothing.

All these people walking a thin line — and if they fall right or left, there’s nothing to fall to. Just nothing.

And they tell you about the game of life, the process, the expectations — and everyone thinks they’re unique, but they all follow and live the same lie.

And then eventually it’s all over. As if it never were. But if you’re lucky, you’ll remember that it was all in vain.
