truth is not an abstraction

As Wittgenstein points out language has limits which is to say reality includes the use of language whereas language itself cannot circumscribe reality. Like science language can only be instrumentally true to the degree it corresponds to what is actually the case as measured by consensus among independent observers of predicted outcomes. However nothing prevents multiple observers agreeing on falsehoods.
