Information Universe and Lavoisier

Many physicists are coming to understand that our universe is a simulation, a rendering of code.
In a universe where matter is simulated, everything is actually information. We live in a universe of information. In a universe of information, we need to update some of the paradigms we thought were set in stone.
For example, Lavoisier's law:
Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed.
Lavoisier's law describes the behavior of matter.
In a universe of information (of simulated matter), it needs to be updated. Here is my attempt to update Lavoisier's law for a universe of information:
Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed… Unless the simulation code specifies an exception, which then appears in the rendering that is our universe.
