At this point no Iran-war atrocity should come as a surprise, save, perhaps, a nuclear strike, but the most significant news is not from the middle east. Capital One recently (again from 2021) made known their closing of hundreds of accounts from the Felon47 business complex following their (routine?) money laundering due diligence. When you elect a person with 34 felonies, the money laundering also shouldn't come as a surprise, but making it known maybe is. I was going to say that Capital One must be big enough not to fear the White House, but the truth is they only went public with this (again, a couple of days ago) when forced to address the issue in court. Todd Blanche's soapbox DOJ is a good smoke screen for what appears to be a serious banking legal exposure; but hasty words those, alas; the soapbox all too serious as well. As is the reflecting pool saga (a distraction). I'm certainly happy for David Hearn, but this entire episode was but another deflection for far more serious matters such as money laundering and treasury plundering. In early July the reflecting pool was a PR disaster for the Oval Office and so Felon47 desperately needed to win the moment to "save" the 250th celebrations. To do that he needed a scapegoat, and David Hearn was convenient. I'm not at all convinced the USA as we knew it in 2015 will survive two more years of this wrecking-ball excuse for an administration. In a couple of days the MSM will forget about Capital One in favor of a latest atrocity du jour. (Please show me I'm wrong.)
