Unbelievable but True Blessings of God:

OK, so remember when I was saying on Monday that the first time in over seven years, the pharmacy had my medication?

It gets even more wild than that.

Initially, I thought that the prescription was only supposed to cost $60 and that’s what I told my wife thinking that with our new insurance even the $201 with the discounts they were able to find seemed very high.

After many calls to, and from my Pharmacy and to my doctors office, I finally made my way out to the pharmacy to pick up my medication.

This was slightly unnerving because I kept getting calls and messages from my pharmacy saying that my prescription would cost anywhere from $201-$529.83, but I decided to operate in faith in went to go pick it up anyhow because it was needed.

No right before I left my wife requested that I pick up just one thing while I was picking up my medicine and that was tortillas for a dinner she was planning the following day.

So I arrive at the Costco and as I normally do on my way, walking to check in, I see if there is anybody that is about finished loading their car so that I could take their shopping cart back for them. Surprisingly this time there was not even though the parking lot was full.

So after skating, my card and walking towards the pharmacy, I noticed that the line was very long, but was moving at a really good pace because all three registers were open with people helping out.

As the line was moving rapidly, and there was only two people in front of me I had a God sense that I should get out of line and get the tortillas and then come back to get in line again.

Wasn’t exactly excited at the prospects of this because the chance that they would have three registers open in the line be shorter than it was right now with they’re only being two people in front of me was very very slim.

So after a little bit of contemplating, I decided to follow God’s direction as I’m endeavoring to live a fully God directed life.

So in a very leisurely manner with no rush at all, I went to go grab the tortillas and then return back to find whatever line was going to be there at the pharmacy when I got back.

Surprising to me they’re were only two registers open and one person in line who had some amazingly thick and well styled hair, which I mentioned to her.

We got to talking in a joked a bit about how since I’ve been shaving my head how much I really appreciate people with a good well styled head of hair to which she laughed.

We kept chatting for a bit and even when it was her turn to go up to pick up her prescription. It was almost as if she didn’t want to leave the fun conversation we were having.

So that it was my turn to talk to the pharmacist and see if my prescription was gonna cost $201 $529.83.

A nice lady Shannon, who is helping me, looked at the pricing that it would be with insurance and then looked in her computer at the $201 that it would be without insurance and went to the back to get my prescription for me.

Now she was gone for a while, which slightly added to my sense of nervousness, not knowing what exactly the final total would be I was going to have to pay.

Both to ease my nerves and to continue to add joy to the situation while my new friend that I made in line was at the register awaiting her prescription we continued to talk and chat and connect.

Then when what seemed like five minutes or more of waiting for my pharmacist to come back, she comes back and says, “ I’m gonna be your new best friend”. To this I asked “what do you mean?” “ for a three month prescription. It’s only gonna be $60 total.” she said.

“Not only that but I have you set up for the rest of the year every time that you pick up three months worth of prescription it will only be $60” she said.

I half jokingly invited her and her husband over for dinner which was only be fitting of a new best friend! To achieve replied that she couldn’t do that because she didn’t get out of work until 830 that night.

And I simply responded that for now a heartfelt thank you in gratitude would have to do for now.

So after multiple phone calls with the pharmacy phone calls with my doctor, my wife requesting I pick up tortillas, the direction I received to pick up the tortillas and get out of line, and getting this one pharmacist Shannon that went the extra mile to make sure that I got the absolute best possible pricing for my prescription that just so happen to be the exact amount of $60 that I had previously told my wife what I thought the prescription should cost.

There are too many strings of events to have me considered this a simple coincidence. Because if any aspect of this chain of events had been broken, wouldn’t have received the miracle of getting my prescription at less than 1/3 of the lowest estimated price that happen to be the exact number I was talking to my wife about before.

And also, because I believe all good things are of God this just shown how much he is listening and that he cares and I’m grateful for Him and his Providence.

Believe this or not, God is still good.
