IEM Ranking List

Name Price Notes
Sennheiser CX 300 II discontinued V-shaped without many details; said to be a Sennheiser branded but not Sennheiser manufactured cheap earbud
Shure SE215 100€ great fit, cable broke twice, okay for a IEM for bassists on stage; not a lot of details, muddy and too bassy
V-Sonic GR07 100€ great fit thanks to rotating nozzle; great detail; liked the tonality and tuning; hint of sibilance; seemed that it sound varies slightly with humidity;
Shure 215 80€ bassy and muddy, not worth the price regarding its performance; great fit and seal; great for drum sessions;
Sony MDR-EX1000 800€ feels like the bigger brother of the GR07 with smoother highs;
KZ ZSN-Pro 10€ not good
CCA C10 30€ cheap, okay detail, I liked the tuning; perfect to use as a monitor when recording video;
FiiO F5 60€ well balanced and okay detail; fit is great and especially with foam ear tips; accessories and build quality are nice
Moondrop Chu 20€ amazing performance for its price; not enough bass for my taste; fit is also not great;
Tin HiFi T4 80€ great DD with a tuning that leans towards the GR07;
Etymotics ER2SE 100€ amazing detail and great DD; great noise shielding due to invasive fit;
Tin HiFi T3 Plus 70€ fun bassy IEM and good details; my daily driver on the go;
Moondrop Blessing 2 320€ wow, technicalities on-par with the ER2SE but with extremely well extended sub-bass for the rumble; separation of instruments amazing; daily driver on the computer
Aiderlot M5 100€ great details, but too harsh and too mid-centric for my ears
Letshuoer Tape 100€ great details, can be a bit harsh sometimes; tuning could be just a bit more bassy for me, but I love this IEM while listening to Tower of Power
Moondrop Blessing 3 300€ improved tightness in the bass compared to the Blessing 2 and a bit more air in the treble, still not harsh or fatiguing
