Mediterranean tulip

Have you ever seen Mediterranean tulip?
What a rare combination you might think.

This flower is found on the highest and most wet regions of the Mediterranean Pyrenes, where it got the humid soil and weather it so essentially needs and enjoys the scarcity on the mountains of the south. These mountains are abundant on scratchy, needle-like and dry bushes, rocks, pine, rosemary and tiny surviving flowers. There are thus not an environment for all to flourish, seldom beings inhabit there.
However, in every turn you could encounter a moss-rich, slippery little torrent of water jumping the rocks down the mountain. In this humid oasis, in between ferns and frogs you can find the Mediterranean tulip. If you are very lucky to find it on full bloom, which it isn't all year round, and specially if you get the opportunity to see it on a sunny day, when its petals are fully alive with colour, it is the most magical experience. Between mosses, ferns and rocks, with the cool air of the little torrent, which is surrounded by the purity of the Pyrenes, you will find her, glowing, mind-trapping and unique.

A precious experience thus.
