Travel day #1!

Woke up at 7am to say bye to bro. Did some final checks and my best to reverse my bedroom's packing apocalypse. C&C - the homies - drove me up to the airport. Very cool of them.

Got through security pretty easily. Waited about an hour for my boarding call. Right as boarding started I had a last minute call with my boss RE social media work. I'll be doing part-time while I'm away. I'll do fewer posts than normal but they don't have anyone else to do it so it's okay. WiFi dropped halfway through but we got it sorted.

Boarded and flew to Van. Got the portside aisle seat at the very back. Guy across the aisle was a WestJet pilot learning how to fly a 787 on his iPad. On the left was a guy who was a variety of books and papers on the pros and cons of the sexual revolution. Beside him, at the window, was clearly a Calgary farmer, bluejean overalls and alls.

I'd arranged to meet my uncle in Calgary. Took the YYC's goofy lil shuttle bus to the D terminal and met him outside. Got afghan food and chatted for a couple hours. Good to see him again!
