Bit of a museum day today. Woke up pretty early. Started at the art gallery. Surprisingly enjoyable. I especially liked the modern art. The 16/17 century stuff all looked really similar which was a little less interesting but still cool to see.
Hit the archaeology museum after that. Most of it was just halls of trinkets they dug up. Beautiful building. One of the exhibits was about the "bog bodies". Essentially, it's a bunch of human remains in glass boxes. They're of people who died in around 400-200BC and they were determined to have been usually executed in brutal ways. Pretty eerie honestly. Some of them still had hair and fingernails.
Went to st Stephen's green park after and got a wrap. Ate on the grass and had a quick nap before getting rained on.
Natural history museum next. It was really just a collection of taxidermy. Not much info on anything besides what it was. Still, all museums were free today. Meant to make it to the guiness store house but didn't get there in time.
On the way back, saw the Oscar Wilde statue and his old house. Got a fan from reception and went for a nap around 6:00 hoping to do the pub crawl later unfortunately, I woke up at 9:15pm and it was gone at that point. Spent some time seeing if anyone was going out tonight but no luck. Probably tuck in early tonight and do nightlife tomorrow.
