Notes On Cybernetic Uncertainty

At present American Empire and its vassal states are preparing the ground for the architecture and network capabilities for a new mythology that will galvanise the fatigued peasant classes. This is not going to be seamless or without disruption - there are deep seated conflicts and tensions within political elites over the exact configuration of the private-public partnership and where truly does Sovereignty lie? Will it lie with the private corporations who believe they have now evolved forms of technocapital that have made the bureaucratic machinery of the twentieth century state obsolete? Or will it lie with the State itself embodied in the semi-permanent and ossified base layer of administration, bureaucracy, civil service and the ever expansive intelligence apparatus? There is at present fierce disagreement amongst elites on the exact configuration and implementation of the architecture required to compete in an emerging multi-polar world.

The fight is ugly and disorientating - peasants such as ourselves are caught in the middle trapped as foot soldiers on the peripheries with the Culture War or within the antiquated divisions within Uniparty electoral politics without even contesting the base layer of the incoming architecture and Cybernetic State formation. Fuentes, BAP, Musk or Bill Gates - it really doesn't matter which spook-sponsored e-celebrity/billionaire at this stage one is behind, the writing is on the wall - we have all tacitly agreed to the Game itself, the rules of the game and now we are basically picking which team we want to be a cheerleader for.

To give a brief introduction, the base assumptions of Cybernetic State formation (not an exhaustive list) are:

• Greater hyperfinancialisation - prolonging American debt as the basis of the entire financial order and other forms of exotic financier-magic such as CBDCs, private stablecoin payments plugged into existing social media platforms, "green finance", real world tokenization through blockchain technologies.
  
• Greater surveillance through endless parasocial libidinal consumption - "free" social media platforms that are dragnet surveillance instruments for the Cybernetic State that allows for modular psychological interventions and social engineering that kings of the past could only have dreamt of.
• Digital ID formation with govtech modernisation - this is the most interesting because of the numerous streams involved, the Left has bought into this through public health technocratic surveillance and the Right is being psychologically primed through anarchotyranny messaging tactics across American Empire around the understandable anxieties of manufactured crises of mass migration to accept "smart walls" and digital biometrics - the "crisis at the border" is the play here.
• Progress as an eschatological rite of duty enshrined in a larger secular religion that hurtles towards forms of synthetic posthumanity via biotech and longevity research to stave off the contradictions of post-Enlightenment mutations (do not be surprised for example if synthetic wombs and reproductive technologies explode in the coming years, heralded as the only solution to stave off what seems to be the inevitable destiny of dense urbanization worldwide - falling fertility rates).

All these base layer assumptions are largely unchecked and unchallenged across the political spectrum currently across the Anglosphere and most certainly even in the non-Anglo European vassal states such as Germany, France and Holland. Outside a few political eccentrics there is complete ironclad cross-political consensus and even media acceptance. The Gaza Genocide has seen an uptick in these pieces of legislation.

At this point, mainstream media and even the emerging "alternative media" ops on Twitter accept largely all of these layers. What is remarkable is that the State in real time is "pseudo-decentralising" - leveraging the promised "chaos" technologies of blockchain, cryptocurrency, cyberspace into newer forms of targeted and modular sophisticated control. Private-public partnerships are a key catalyst for this.

The implementation, the actual real world realisation of these designs however remain far from certain. There is tremendous uncertainty everywhere across multiple domains and fields whether this works or does it spark off implosion. Even if this marvel of technocapital engineering works - what does it lead to, is it sustainable, does it implode, does it keep going? This Promethean gamble risks a terrible amount.

Underlying alot of these projects are the all too human tendencies of delusion, ambition, lust, greed and Pharonic hubris. There are also unintended consequences - one of the issues with emergent technologies is predicting how they end up behaving in the wild, few if any can claim such clairvoyance. The ambition behind this acceleration towards Cybernetic State formation creates known uncertainties but also unknown uncertainties.

At this point there is nothing really to stop Cybernetic State formation - whilst we waste our energies on Culture War mascot games picking what flavour of Forever War Liberalism we want, base assumptions of the entire project of American Empire go unquestioned. Legislation after legislation on speech, encryption, financial regulation, privacy, surveillance, surreal central banking policies, state-backed currency formation passes with resounding approval across the political spectrum within the simulation of electoral politics. We are living through mass lawfare that is making the post 9/11 period insignificant by comparison, largely unknown to most people.

The only way out is to accelerate these processes to find where the breaking point of technocapital truly lies, if there even is one?

Until then solarpunk and lunarpunk expressions of the Islamic Secular are needed - new forms of cyber-localism that go in the opposite direction - checking out of fiat currencies, adoption of hard monies - both with transparent and obfuscated chains, encryption maximalism, self-custody/open source as an ethos, anti-surveillance, not bending the knee to Progress - but all the while not veering into Luddite fantasy. Leveraging anti-Promethean technologies to impact IRL localism.

Perhaps in the process, offering a new answer to the question concerning technology - whether it be Yuk Hui's cosmotechnics, Satoshi's p2p hard money or ultimately some strange hitherto undiscovered permutation that ultimately is anti-Promethean and pro-Adamic rather than Dajjalic.
