Referrals, reports, emails that is how I find the people I help.
Not how I meet them.
Person to person engagement is where individual truth and safety is grown.
To start, I ask one question
“What concerns you most about your life, now?”
I listen absorb, engage and permit feeling.
“Thank you for sharing your fears with me. I now know where we can start”
That’s it, the first step in helping an individual to engage with the necessary. To understand “where” they are coming from and why they do what they do.
From here reasoning, mitigation and advocacy are grown. More importantly, the building of trust and the removal of fear.
