I've wanted to get into blogging for quite a few years. I've always let perfect be the the enemy of good enough. I've had plans and spun my wheels trying to have everything just right.

I just started using Standard Notes after sitting on the fence about it for a while. I wanted the privacy and I'm ok with paying for services that provide me value, but I felt like the cost was just a little too steep for me for a note taking app. My need for a better note system, after having abandoned Evernote years ago, came to a head recently.

After I started trying out the free tier I was offered a very limited time discount. I decided to take advantage of that and committed to 5 years. It's been a joy to start using and learning SN. I didn't even know Listed was a thing when I registered, so I decided to jump in. Here's to hoping I stick with the habit.
