I used to think a good trading routine should feel active.
More charts, more alerts, more checking, more adjustments.
But over time, I’ve started to prefer the opposite.
I want fewer decisions during the trade.
Most of the important choices should already be made before I enter:
what I’m watching,
where the idea is wrong,
how much I’m willing to risk,
and what would make me exit.
Once those things are clear, constantly changing the plan usually doesn’t help.
