It's 2020... and I need a way to get my mind to slow down and FOCUS.
The pace and volume of the current media torrent we live inside has become overwhelming and persistent. And at times I feel like I'm going mad.
So I need a logout.
For two months I will:
- LOG OUT of all socia media channels
- Engage in NO SCREEN-BASED ENTERTAINMENT unless it is a meaningful and pre-planned experience with my family.
Aside from freeing my mind (at least in some small way) from the tyranny of this present media-addled culture, this should free up at least 6-10 hours a week. I plan to use some of that time to write, here on this simple blog, about what I'm feeling and experiencing.
1/1/2020 seems like a good place to start.
