No Path to Victory for Putin

🇺🇦 I know everyone hates this idea, but let's talk more about Ukraine becoming an unincorporated territory of the USA.
The best strategy to end this war is to make Putin believe that ending the war immediately is the best outcome for him. To absolutely crush Putin's aspirations of annexing Ukraine, you must make him realize that there is no path to victory. You must make Putin understand that if he were to succeed on the battlefield, that his worst nightmare will become a reality. What is Putin's worst nightmare? It's hard to give a definite answer to that question, but I can guess that Ukraine becoming an unincorporated territory of the USA is probably it or one of them.
And if Ukraine becomes unsuccessful in the battlefield, it's good to have a Plan B in place. If Ukraine is faced with the possibility of being conquered by Russia and permanently losing their independence to Russia forever, they will turn to Plan B. Russia or the USA? It's pretty easy to predict which choice Ukraine would make if those were the only two options. All the USA has to do is put this option on the table, and it automatically becomes Plan B.
Putin knows that if this option is on the table, then he has no path to victory. If Putin defeats Ukraine in the battlefield, Ukraine will turn to the USA. If Putin continues to bomb Ukrainian cities, destroying Ukrainian infrastructure, and effectively damages Ukrainian morale, which is exactly what Putin is currently trying to do, Ukrainians will want to turn to Plan B. Ukrainians will want to join the USA rather than surrender to Russia. That outcome would be an even bigger defeat for Putin than just retreating from Ukraine, and giving up his dreams of annexing the country. Once Putin realizes that every bomb he drops on Ukraine only pushes Ukrainians closer to joining the USA, rather than surrendering to him, he will stop. Once Putin realizes that his aggressive behavior is backfiring and that he is basically handing Ukraine to the USA, rather than conquering the country, he will stop. We must make Putin realize that there is no path to victory for him.
Expansionism is really not on the USA’s agenda, but sometimes it can be a viable solution to world problems. Sometimes all you really have to do is start talking about it to manifest the results you want. I'm not referring to expansionism by force. The USA would never resort to the same tactics as Russia. I'm referring to expansionism by choice. To clarify, I am suggesting that the USA should allow threatened nations to join the USA and act as a protectorate towards those smaller nations, specifically liberal democracies, that are threatened with war and aggression by authoritarian and totalitarian powers, especially nuclear powers. The USA is the strongest country in the world. The USA has the strongest force in the world, and Americans want to be a force for good. The American flag is a very powerful symbol. It can act as a shield against aggressive powers. Americans want to use that power to protect smaller nations from aggression.
"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty." - JFK. President Kennedy was not referring to expansionism when he made that statement. He simply and eloquently stated that the USA will do whatever it takes to assure the survival and success of liberty. That means that we would never force a nation to join the USA, but we can and should allow nations to join us if that is what they would like to do. In fact, we have a responsibility to the world to do so, for that is the only way to assure the survival and success of liberty and maintain peace on earth.
