Trump Will Be Found Not Guilty

🇺🇸 No matter how much you hate Trump, this Manhattan DA's case as I understand it is absolutely absurd. They charged Trump with 34 felony charges for false business documents. They say Trump paid Playboy models money to not talk about their relationship with him during his election campaign. It's not illegal to have relationships with Playboy models, thankfully, or I would be guilty as well. It's not illegal to pay models money to be silent about their relationships either, but only a Conservative would feel the need to do so. Liberals don't even consider that to be an issue. They say Trump did not disclose these payments in his business documents, and therefore he created false business documents - 34 of them. And so they claim he should be charged with 34 felonies. It's absurd. There's no doubt he did not create his business documents himself. I also highly doubt he paid the hush money through one of his businesses. The case is obviously politically motivated, and as much of an embarrassment to our democracy as the Jan. 6 attack on the capital. It would have been better to just move on.
Even if they give an anti-Trump judge in Manhattan the case, and the Manhattan judge finds Trump guilty, he will appeal. He can appeal all the way to the US Supreme Court. Considering he is a former president, the US Supreme Court will hear his case, and there is no way that the US Supreme Court, with three judges appointed by Trump, will find him guilty over such trivial allegations. I can only think of one reason the Manhattan DA would even press charges, and that is simply to get his name in the headlines - he desperately wanted some publicity.
The American public is well aware of JFK's numerous affairs, including with Marilyn Monroe, also a Playboy model. Yet he still remains one of the most popular US presidents of all time. If you want to take down a former US president, you will have to come up with something better than exploiting their alleged extramarital affairs, which is a violation of their fundamental human right to privacy. Human rights are the guiding light in politics, not morality - morality is subjective.
