🇪🇺 France's bruised ego over a former colony's rise above them to the top in the hierarchy of prestige among nations comes to light, while the British still remain fascinated and enthralled by it. Meanwhile, the Germans are quietly jockeying for power over Europe through economic strength rather than military strength this time. The Danes, the Dutch, the Scandinavians, and most of the Eastern Europeans, however, all appear to be clear-eyed about the new reality and the challenges we are all facing.
