The Group of Nine

🇨🇦🇺🇸🇩🇪🇫🇷🇮🇹🇬🇧🇯🇵🇰🇷🇭🇲 We would like to expand the Group of Seven to the Group of Nine by inviting South Korea and Australia to join the group. South Korea and Australia meet all of the criteria of the group, and they are the next two biggest economies. Currently the only Indo-Pacific member within the Group of Seven is Japan. We would like to include more Indo-Pacific voices in this forum, to ensure we are addressing all of the concerns of our allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region as well. We also believe this change would have a positive effect on Japan-Korea relations by providing them with an additional forum to collaborate and partner with one another. xo
