The USA Loves Spain

🇪🇸 Catalan independence is no good for Spain, the EU, or any of Spain's allies. It is best for all of us if Spain does not break up into smaller countries. I think PM Sánchez would be better off cutting a deal with the Popular Party, who has the popular vote in Spain, rather than cutting a deal with the Junts. I would not give the Junts any power or relevance - that's encouragement. I think it's best to shut the far-left independence groups down and find common ground with the center-right. xo
