Politico Claims the USA Assassinated an African Leader

🇺🇸 Lies. This article is clearly propaganda meant to stoke racial tensions in the USA, and generate anti-American sentiment in Africa. There is no valid reason for the USA to assassinate a Congolese leader. The leader of the Congo was not a threat to the USA. Sorry to break it to you, but the reality is that whatever happens in the Congo has little effect on the USA. That is true today and it was even more true when Eisenhower was president. The USA has tried to assist Africa with investments in human capital and economic development. The USA formed an alliance with Europe to help maintain peace in Europe, but has always maintained an anti-colonial stance. The USA has used the North Atlantic alliance to pressure Europe to abandon any colonialist ambitions. Eisenhower was one of the most anti-colonial presidents. He literally threatened to go to war with the UK, France and Israel over colonialism in North Africa, specifically over the Suez Canal crisis.
So according to the author, US President Eisenhower, who threatened to go to war with US allies, the UK, France and Israel, over the Suez Canal, against the USA's benefit and interests, would assassinate a Congolese leader for no reason at all other than he is black and communist. Only an idiot would believe this. If Eisenhower was going to assassinate an African leader, it would have been the Egyptian president when he nationalized the Suez Canal. The author of this article is clearly writing and promoting anti-American propaganda. It is possible that Belgium assassinated the African leader or, more likely, another Congolese political leader that wanted to gain power did so. These kinds of violent power plays happen frequently in Africa. The African continent has a reputation for violent overthrows as we see happening today in Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Gabon, Sudan, and the Congo, among others. The USA has nothing to do with it.
This article literally made me nauseous. My only question after reading this is why would Politico publish anti-American propaganda? Why would the editor of Foreign Affairs, a publication by the Council on Foreign Relations, write and publish this crap. The author of this article should be stripped of his US citizenship. This is a serious problem that requires the USA's immediate attention. Spreading anti-American propaganda is a crime in the USA.
In fact, we have decided to sue the publication for printing this filth. xo
