🇺🇦 Imagine Russia was attacking a NATO country or an EU member state. How would NATO or the EU or the USA defend their members against an attack? If NATO or the EU or the USA can't meet Ukraine's ammo needs, then we will not be able to meet our own either. Why do we spend so much developing weapons if we are incapable of producing the ammo to use them? Weapons are useless without ammo. If the defense contractors can't meet our basic ammunition needs, then we will just have to cut all of our defense contracts with them. They are all useless to us. We expect the defense contractors to be able to meet our defense needs whenever they are required to do so. That is called military preparedness. Military unpreparedness is negligence. If the Pentagon is not currently prepared to meet our needs in a wartime scenario, as they should be, as they are required to be, now is the best time for them to become prepared for that wartime scenario.
In the meantime Ukraine will have to eliminate Russia's source of ammo. Ukraine will have to destroy Russia's ammo warehouses. Ukraine will have to destroy Russia's ability to import ammo from North Korea. Ukraine may even have to destroy North Korean ammo production facilities. Ukraine will have to use some guerrilla warfare tactics. Ukraine should not commit any war crimes though. Ukraine should maintain higher ethical standards than Russia.
I am sorry that Russia invaded Ukraine. I am sorry that the administration refused to prevent the invasion when it was still possible to do so by putting US troops on the ground and taking a firmer stance against Russia. I am sorry that Ukraine did not accept our proposal for a peaceful solution, and chose to fight Russia in a very difficult war without the means to do so. I am sorry that Ukraine has been unable to defeat Russia. I am sorry that US support is waning despite promises of standing by Ukraine for as long as it takes. I am sorry for many other things that have happened.
We must turn the tide on this situation. Russia must not be allowed to march into a country, steal their territory, steal their children, and commit war crimes. We want Russia defeated. We have to do whatever it takes to defeat Russia in Ukraine or we will be forced to confront Russia on NATO territory.
