Early American Art

🇺🇸 I have a newfound obsession with early American Art from the first half of the 20th century. I feel like I am just discovering these works for the first time, because I never developed an appreciation for it before now. I just acquired Grant Wood’s The Radical from 1936 - the first version. I'm very excited about it. If I can acquire a big enough collection worth showing, my new checkered farm house in the Midwest may serve as a small American Art Museum focused on the Midwestern Regionalists and Outsider Art. I think that would be the perfect complement for the arts and crafts campus. xo
