Organized Crime is Terrorism

🇺🇸 According to a diplomatic source, the idea put forward by Trump "mixes concepts that respond to different dynamics. Organized crime seeks profit, not ideology, and treating it as terrorism only diverts resources and attention from real solutions." I disagree.

Organized crime seeks power just like terrorists, and both seek profit. They engage in the same tactics: kidnappings, assassinations, and atrocious acts of violence to terrify the general public. They do all of these things to gain power.

The only difference between Latin American cartels and Middle Eastern groups that are designated as terrorists is their ethnicity and religion. They all sell drugs for profit and turn their homelands into narco states. They all engage in violent, aggressive behavior to accomplish their goals. Organized crime is terrorism.
