The Greenland Act

🇺🇸 American Liberals propose new legislation that declares that Greenland has the right to self-determination. Taking Greenland by force would become a criminal act, and the president, as well as his cabinet, will be held accountable for the crime if they violate the law. The USA does not seize territory from allies. The USA is not Russia, and we will not allow the current administration to turn us into an aggressive state like Russia. Americans are not imperialists like the Russians. We're not colonialists either. We expect the Trump administration to adhere to the USA's core values. The USA does not need to take Greenland, and we wish for the US Congress to declare this to be true. The USA can invest in Greenland. We can also sign a defense treaty and create an economic partnership with Greenland.

I find it absolutely absurd that we even need to propose this legislation.
