US-EU Trade Relations

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ We wish for President Trump to make time for the leaders of the EU and our other allies, and explain to them exactly what he wants. The EU Commission handles all trade policy in the EU, not individual countries. We wish for President Trump to meet with the EU President, Ursula von der Leyen, to discuss the trade deficits, tariffs, and all other trade issues that President Trump is concerned about.

Europe did not โ€œget wealthy off the backs of Americansโ€ as I have heard some Republicans stating. Europeans were wealthy long before the USA was even a concept. We provided some support to Europe after the devastation of the World Wars, but Europe was already highly skilled and had the know-how to quickly rebuild their countries. All of our ideas, the ideas that lead to the founding of the USA, originally came from Europe.

We understand the need for tariffs on China, and other nations that help China evade tariffs. But we believe that we can trust our allies, and we can work together to secure our economies and provide all of our people with economic stability.

We can solve the trade deficit and we can eliminate all tariffs and trade barriers between us. This would be ideal for everyone in the Free World.

American Liberals wish for a free trade zone for the Free World, essentially an economic union with our allies, which would mean zero tariffs for all members. An economic union would guarantee trade reciprocity, and it will remove all trade barriers, both monetary and non-monetary, by eliminating tariffs and making standards universal among the members. This ideal is something all businesses desire. We can realize this ideal with a trusted group of allies that share our worldview.
