Ask "how" questions, don't ask "why" questions

Generally speaking, asking how questions is better than asking why questions, given equitable contexts. How (something came to be, something is done, made, successful) can open up a discussion more. You ask how, you elicit knowledge and positioning from the others too. Everyone can learn this way. Why questions may lead into a trap of "it is because..." and tend to close a discussion.
