My name is Bart and I live in London, UK. I have worked in cross-platform software development for well over 20 years, touching all kinds of different technology along the way. I also have many other talents!

Industries I have worked in include video games, large scale enterprise groupware, travel, credit referencing, financial services and many more. I have been one-man bands and managing a team of up to 40 developers. Experienced? You could say so.

My programming language of choice is C#, but I can be agnostic. C/C++, Java, PHP and a load of niche ones I have experience with as well.

I am presently Lead Mobile Developer at Firefly Learning, working on mobile apps for parents and students across the world.

I am also building a video game, based on the stories and universe of my previously published book, Changeable Worlds.

As a full-time nerd, here is a list of things I like to do:

• 📱 Develop software for Apple and Google devices.
• ⚙️ Design and build server application architectures, databases and infrastructure.
• 🎮 Play (and write) various video games.
• 🪐 Write fantasy/sci-fi stories and create fictional galaxies.
• 📹 Broadcast, direct and produce audio and video livestreams.
• 📷 Take pictures of things with various cameras.
• 🎹 Bash drums and fiddle around with synthesisers.
• 🤘 Enjoy a vast collection of obscure metal music.
• 🐺 Occasionally may be seen with wolf-like tendencies.
