As I navigate this year, I am finding more tests and challenges that are making for a very difficult time. There have been more "bad" days than good as of late. I need to focus willpower and energy on maintaining a healthy emotional state of mind on an increasing number of days. If this is but a shadow of what depression feels like for people, then I can understand a bit of what that struggle must be like, and I am thankful that it is not one that is fully consuming my life, although at times it may feel that way to me.

I am going to push through this. I am going to come out of this stronger, better, and more capable. I have a habit of learning life lessons the hard way. Whether it is a stubborn or lazy predisposition or a lack of confidence in myself, I do not know, but I know I need to grow. This is the time for it. There is an opportunity here. There may be multiple opportunities here. The next few weeks will play out as they must and I will find my way.
