Matcha-powered writing

My main goal, as set last night, is to complete my sermon for this Sunday. I did quite a lot on it yesterday in the space of a couple of hours.

What it needs is a clear point. Something I've learned is that the most simple person in the congregation needs to be able to recall the most basic point of the sermon. And I would say the point I want people to remember is, "Jesus builds his Ekklesia."

The slight niggle I have with this however is I've preached on this main point before. This time it's different though, as it's kind of a launch sermon for our new purpose statement. So in my mind it's OK.

I have a coffee brewing as I type, but the difference this morning is that it has a smidge of matcha powder mixed in with it. Yes, I bought some last night. The authentic Japanese stuff. Slightly overpriced perhaps.
