My productivity Workflow

I think I have finally settled on a productivity workflow which is looking promising. It’s taken six years. I don’t think I’m naïve enough to say that I’m there, but I feel more positive than I have for a while about this.
So here’s the deal.
I use Standard Notes for when I need to easily access things on my phone. This is because it syncs seamlessly between my laptop and my phone. I will use it for things like records of meetings with people; prayer meetings; orders of service. I will also use it for recording what happens each day; this is usually done on the fly, so using my phone makes sense.
For longer writing, such as sermons or blog posts such as this, I will use Obsidian. I can export sermons to PDF and I can copy/paste blog posts to whichever platform I’m currently using. In this instance it’s Listed.to. (So why am I not blogging with Standard Notes? I think because I am notorious for changing blogging platforms so quickly - if I compose all my blog entries in Obsidian, that way I have them for all time; they don’t disappear should I swap platforms.).
I will also use Obsidian for typed journalling when the occasion arises, and for general planning, e.g. Kanban for "Church Categories".
However, here’s the clincher. The dreaded to-do list. Years ago, probably ten years ago, I discovered Teux Deux. I loved the design of it, primarily. I can’t remember why I didn’t stick with it; there was some limiting factor; whether it was platform issues or something else, I can’t remember - but it wasn’t a perfect fit.
Quite by chance, I rediscovered Teux Deux last night. I installed it on my phone, and it was lovely. I can input tasks on different days using gestures. Recurring tasks too. And it doesn’t have notifications, which is kind of liberating. It still looks amazing, it is still as smooth as it was. Plus there is a web-app so it can sync between laptop and phone.
Then for dates of course there is Google Calendar. Except, there is this new calendar app called Cron, which is desktop-based only for the moment. It has some nice keyboard shortcuts and it syncs perfectly with GCal. So I am using that on my laptop and GCal on my phone.
And in the back of my mind, I am considering if I even need to use GCal at all - can I get by with just using Teux Deux?
But for now, I am happy. We will see how it goes.
