Bump in the road - 4th April 2025

I've hit a bit of bump in the road, some of you noticed that the shop was closed last week.

I had a mild heart attack last Monday. I've had a couple of stents put in. I'm OK, back home, recuperating, just feeling a bit battered. I think it was a close call. Completely out of the blue and I don't tick many of the risk factors either apart maybe from 'stress'.

So, I've been told by the Stroud District Green Party, Stroud District Council, Cllr Catherine Braun and esp. Cllr Linda Cohen to take it easy for a while. Which I'm finding a bit tricky...

Bear with me! Although I can't drive right now I am on the road to a full recovery and hoping for things getting back to normal soon.

Update 20th April

I needed a bit more work at GRH, a couple more stents fitted as the first ones didn't do the job as expected. So still unable to drive and more recuperation time needed.

Update 4th May

I've hopelessly under-estimated recovery time but getting back to some sort of fitness now and can drive again. I'm re-opening the shop on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 10am-3pm. I'm signed off council duties through May, evening meetings on top of the day job is just too much at the moment.
