Rational Numbers

Rational Numbers are those numbers which can be expressed in the form of p/q, where p and q are integers and q is not 0.

Examples- 1, 23/8, 0, -66/82, 795/-3.

Pi, is not a Rational Number. We might argue that Pi is 22/7, and hence is a rational number. But we must know that 22/7 is just an approximation, and never accurate.

It differs from fractions as they represent a part of a whole, but rational numbers might even be more than a whole.
