DAY008: DISCOVERING PRIVACY PT03

welcome everyone to my another blog of #the121, and continuing my privacy series, we are already on pt3, lets see how far i can go

but first some small talk, u can skip this block if u want, not so important, actually i forgot again to publish & write this blog on time, first of all my power was cut off and i had not data at moment, and after that when my power comes, i just procastinated, so a little sorry for that, and i have write two blogs today, ik its cheating, but, i have no other choice, so lets continue

...and then i understood or say discovered all of this, so happened was like this

i was just trying to open an edu mail, but i dont wanted to use my original and primary gmail, i was opening that account for not primary, but for doing some temporary works, and i dont wanted to that college (that was providing edu mail) to know my primary or any of my mail addresses, i just needed an temporary email address

so ik what u guys thinking, i can use temp-mail for that right, no, that process of getting edu email is so long, so i needed an temporary email but not for just few hours, for a long time

untill this point i've known that google is safe to use (which is it, what they wanna say, but it isn't), so i thought of opening another gmail for temporary, but u know google requires phone numbers to register, at that point i've already used all my phone numbers and dont know any other way to do it without number

then i get to know that there are other email providers rather than gmail and outlook, i discovered it in the way of researching (as u know, im an tech guy, and that was my beginning of becoming one, so i didn't know anything at that point, just using google's all services and let them steal my data with my permission that i never even in my knowledge)

so i just searched on google "secure email providers", cs i want my data to be secure as others, and there was many known option with gmail, but the first unique one i found is proton, then i searched about proton on google and seems pretty nice

so i opened an account, used it for my edu mail stuff, and in the way of process, i heard of something like e2ee (end to end encryption), what proton had and priotized so much, which i never heard of untill that point...

so thats it for today, u know, dont wanna make it boring, so bye bye and connect me if u want on my socials

have an better life...
