I have been keeping an eye on the posts to keep track by numbering, and a sense of--I won't say elation, but a so much yet to go came today when the total reached double digit.
It's understandable for parents to feel proud when the child reaches ten, or a couple celebrating ten years of living together, the thrill of commemorating tenth year in one's own house or someone rejoicing their savings reach the tenth million--but a mere tenth post? Too miniscule, regular writers probably write that much fluently in an hour without a break, but yet...
If you moved onto smartphone after having used the computer, somehow, writing on the desktop always seems comfortable and free flowing than on the little screen. May be it's the keyboard that pops-up with autocorrections and suggestions besides covering part of it that looks a hindrance. Some are used to it, typing effortlessly with both the thumbs, but those like us doing it with just the index finger, however fast, always find relief in the wide screen with the whole body of text facing you, feel at home with Ctrl-X or C with V to rearrange than the hassles of double tapping a word to highlight, and move the cursor either ways to select the required, press cut or copy from the context menu and paste with one more long-press where required (with each snippet that you copy or cut getting stored in the clipboard for a long period). It's purely a matter of choice, like the old timers who preferred pressing pen against paper than keying-in...
