Reaching half-way

It's one of those days when the mind goes blank, a feeling that all you wanted to say is already covered, and a "hardly anything more to add" kind of feeling. Nothing flashes like in the earlier days.
But just then, while numbering this post, it occurred on it reaching 50, a halfway mark for the set 100 days of writing. Fifty also connotes many other hallmarks.
Many celebrate (or curse?) on reaching fifty or having lived half the life. That's going by the standard life expectancy of 100 years, though very few these days live up to that.
Earlier there used to be full-page Ads to mark Golden Jubilee of an organization to have existed for that many years and going strong, or movies that ran for fifty weeks and so on. The latter however is now counted in days than weeks, if at all.
In art we have the Golden Section based on Fibonacci series of "1:1.6" ratio that's considered a classic proportion.
People also talk about the Golden Age when things excelled, that once was or some expecting yet to come, be it in reference to a movement in art, or the era when a particular king ruled.
Whatever may be its other significance, it gave me a topic, though not much. Like the leading men in old movies or stories, the do-gooder who always had that Golden Heart, or James Bond's Golden Gun that hardly differed from the others in purpose or intent except by the name...
