Trapped

I feel trapped in a prison of my own making. I laid every brick with perfection, and fought hard with my dreams. Dreams of flying above the ether. A beautiful home was born with passion and hope. A hope for a magical future with cool peaceful breeze. Just a few days into its inception, perilous storms crawled from all over, eating away the passion and hope piece-by-piece. All I could do was lock myself inside with a fear of fighting it and destroying everything in the process. I didn’t imagine that the home I built with utmost love and care would become a labyrinth of hurt and despair. I feel trapped in a prison of my own making.
